Hindenburg Omen Is The New Death Cross

I just got back from a four-day fishing trip. While sifting through the 600+ articles in my Google Reader I couldn’t help but notice all the chatter about the upcoming “Hindenburg Omen”. I’m not going to harp on this because I don’t want this blog to become a place where I just make fun of financial media memes.
Also, I don’t think this can be considered a contrarian indicator because the technical conditions required for this to occur are so random. I’m not making a call on the markets, just observing the chatter.
