BP:XOM | +1.51 | BP Got a bump from some takeover chatter. PTR, RDS.B and BRK.B all mentioned to possibly acquire. |
CS:GS | -1.6 | GS Underperforms the market and its peers. |
CSCO:QQQQ | -2 | CSCO lagged all day and was worst performing DOW component. |
Divergent Issues is a segment devoted to cataloging anomalies in the market. Relationships are displayed in the first column, the magnitude of the move is shown in the middle, and the story in the right. The magnitude is based on on the average movement the volatility balanced spread, where ‘2’ is equal to twice the expected volatility threshold, ‘3’ is triple, etc. Volatility calculations used to construct the spread are based on a proprietary ranking system.
